Столичные журналисты гуляли в «Украине»
Свыше 60 творческих работников СМИ стали лауреатами творческих конкурсов Союза журналистов Москвы за 2010 год. В церемонии вручения наград приняли участие представители исполнительной и государственной властей страны и столицы.
«Независимый творческий союз столичных журналистов, созданный в 1990-м году в 19-й раз отмечает праздник печати новой России объявленный Президиумом Верховного Совета РСФСР в декабре 1991 года, - напомнил собравшимся, открывая торжества председатель СЖМ, руководитель комиссии по телекоммуникациям, информационной политике и свободе слова в СМИ Общественной палаты РФ Павел Гусев. - За минувшие годы в «копилке» столичного журналистского сообщества немало добрых дел. Да и сам праздник печати стал ответом тогдашних властей на ходатайство столичной журналистской организации».
Немало усилий приложил СЖМ для решения вопроса о премии Правительства Российской Федерации в области печатных СМИ. Лауреатами этой высокой награды с 2005 года удостоены 49 работников столичных СМИ и редакционных коллективов. Ещё ранее в 1991 году учреждена премия города Москвы в области журналистики. Это был первый опыт введения наград властными структурами в новой России. На сегодняшний день звания «Лауреат премии города Москвы в области журналистики» удостоены 220 работников СМИ. От имени властей столицы журналистов поздравил заместитель мэра Москвы Александр Горбенко.
В настоящее время журналистские конкурсы проводятся в 10 номинациях. Одна из престижных - награда за вклад в популяризацию идей парламентаризма в России, которая вручается с 2003 года. Президент Академи прессы Виталий Игнатенко вручил дипломы действительных академиков прессы Юрию Белявскому, Николаю Долгополову, Николаю Зятькову, Владимиру Мамонтову, Александру Пумпянскому.
«СЖМ сотрудничает со многими структурами», - подчеркнула, первый секретарь Людмила Щербина. - Партнерами союза по журналистским конкурсам являются департаменты Правительства Москвы.
